Pivot Demo Day Report: Hey Everyone! Really hope everyone enjoyed last weekend's Demo Day out in Snowflake! As you know, we got a big surprise from mother nature Saturday morning with a nice layer of snow blanketing the ground in the White Mountains, with the snow level even dropping down to Snowflake where Pivot was holding their demo day for us.

What a hearty bunch of souls we have here in the White Mountains! Despite the snow on the ground and temperatures in the 30's, we still had a great turnout. Isn't it awesome how the Snowflake trail crew has apparently installed under-trail heating to keep snow from sticking to their trails? Or, instead were Rick and Brandon out there plowing overnight to keep the trails snow free? I

Perhaps it was latent heat generated by the high speeds of the mountain bikers using the trails in Snowflake that keeps them so warm? Well, you can decide for yourself the reason. But one way or the other, Pivot and Snowflake hosted a great event for our White Mountain riders!
Saturday Ride, April 26th: Buena Vista Trails, Show Low, 8:00 a.m.: So, demo day being in the books, it is time to start our regular group rides! The first of these is this Saturday morning, April 26th. Meet and the Buena Vista trailhead south of Show Low off of highway 60 at 8:00 a.m. ready to ride. We'll be out there for about an hour and half to two hours, and we'll cover anywhere between ten and fifteen miles. It is highly likely that there is going to be both an "A" ride for more fast/advanced riders, and a "B" ride for slower riders that would like to avoid more technical terrain. Message? If you are a slower or beginner rider that has been hesitant to come out and join us because you are afraid of slowing the group down, this weekend is a great time to come out with the group.

"golden hour" on April 21, 2025.
These rides are friently-paced "no-drop" rides, meaning that regardless of which group you choose, you won't be stranded in the woods by yourself. The trails were scouted yesterday and are in great shape, the much needed six inches of snow that fell on them over the weekend having melted and been absorbed into the parched ground.
Hope to see you Saturday morning!!!!
